Hunter/ Jumper Trivia- 2/15
This month will be our last month of Weekly Trivia Prizes, because starting March we are going to start something new. But I will explain more about that when March comes!

3. In the Pony Hunters or Junior Hunters.. when your trainer or the person at the ingate says- “Get ready for the Jog!” What do they mean?? What are they referring to as the “Jog”?
4. What is the “Prize List”? What might be included on/in it?

Heyyyyy thereeeeee!!!! I’m Emily Ecclestone! I grew up and lived in Palm Beach, Florida, riding and showing in Wellington, FL. I have been riding since I was 4, and I am 15, almost 16 now, so that’s 12 years!!! I ride english and compete in Show Jumping.

. I have shown/leased Farnley Byron, Grey Goose, BlackWatch, Making Magic, and Calvin K. I have schooled many ponies such as Dream Big, Promiseland, Rainmaker, Georgia, Nitro, Saltwood Samurai, and Hat Trick. I was 3rd in the Sm/Med. Child. Pony in USEF’s Horse of the Year in 2007 for Zone 4. I am currently in 9th grade at Aspen High School in Aspen, CO. I love to play other sports when I am not riding, such as basketball and lacrosse! I have two younger sisters, Elizabeth (Lizzie) and Erin,and a younger brother, Edwin! Hm.. What else do ya’ll want to know? Well, incase you were wondering, my favorite color is light blue, and my dream horse is a chestnut hunter with 4 white socks with blaze, that needs large spurs to get going cause he’s so lazy, and does auto changes!! 1. Hunter jumps have boxes and such that touch or lay on the ground. Jumper jumps do not have anything that touches the ground. Jumper jumps have liver pools. If you are in the hunter ring, you should not have a liver pool. Jumper jumps have flags on the corners symbolizing whether or not you’re jumping the jump the correct way. Hunter jumps do not have flags.
2. Ledges, Pony Finals, Germantown Charity Horse Show, Memphis in May, Springtime in Dixie, Kentucky Spring, Kentucky Summer, Harvest Time, HITS Ocala, WEF.
3. The jog is when you remove your saddle. You trot into the ring, the judge makes sure your horse is not lame, and you receive your ribbons.
4. The prize list is the list of divisions and classes availible to show in. It also may include the prize money from the division if the division has a prize.
5. I don’t know! Haah
6. Six people are awarded ribbons.
